How did you meet?

We met in a yatch going to Isla Saona (Dominican Republic). He was with his college friends and I was with my girlfriends. We liked each other, we exchanged numbers and a few months passed by until we started dating in Madrid, and since then we have been together for 8 years.

Where did you get married and why?

We got married in Santa Barbara church (Convent of the Royal Salesas). I always liked that church since when I was a little girl I saw a wedding and said to myself “if one day I get married it will be here” and it happened…

Where is the wedding dress from?

The dress I got it in Rosa Clará store in Velasquez street (everyone was very helpful and charming; especially Mari Carmen). I wanted something very simple, romantic with tulle, long-sleeve and sheer back with buttons. Just what I was looking for! I’ve never liked busy bridal gowns; I rather give more attention to the accessories.

How did you feel when you saw yourself with the wedding dress? It was a very emotional moment. I felt very happy surrounded by all my family.

What made you choose this dress? Was this the dress you’ve always dreamed of? I always wanted a dress with this style. Tulle, transparency, button up back.

Where did the celebration take place? How did you want to decorate and why?

Dinner was at country-house La Tayada with Medems catering. We had very clear that the decoration was going to be rustic and country to match with the beautiful oaks field. This is why we had a lot of wicker baskets, dried flowers, pineapple, and wooden boxes with flowers… For the waiters we chose some cards with green birds, keeping the essence from the invitations that had Japanese birds. For the seating chart we used easels with a drape background. Also, we had a photo booth with pompons and pastel color strings. The candy bar was decorated with our photos and the signature book was from Mr. Wonderful.

What type of flowers was the bouquet made of and who did you give it too?

The bouquet was beautiful. I wanted in pastel tones and green, a lot of peonies and roses; which were brought from Holland. I had it reserved for my friend Vicky; she was the only single one.

Why did you choose Instantanea&Tomaprimera to document your wedding?

When we saw the portfolio of Instantanea&Tomaprimera we stopped searching. We love their work at the first moment. They are natural, spontaneousand fresh. The best election we could’ve made.

Which song opened the dance floor? We wanted something fun. First we played Ellie Goulding song “Love me like you do” which we love. A few minutes after to spice things up with Dj of Dandote Ritmo we played “pulp fiction” and we did the harlem shake, our friends tagged along and it was so much fun!

Something special to highlight at the wedding? Any stories? Any surprises?

We wanted everyone to remember this wedding as something different and fun. We set up a table with friends and prepared a dance. When everyone sat down for dinner, we got up suddenly and danced the song “Sera por que te amo” Romina and Albano. People did not expect it and instantly all the guests were dancing, clapping and taking videos with their cellphones.
