We have all the details and all the images behind Spain’s wedding of the year, Alba Carrillo and Feliciano Lopez
We have all the details and all the images behind Spain’s wedding of the year. Popular Spanish model and actress, Alba Carrillo and tennis player Feliciano Lopez said, “I do” after dating for close to two years. The two celebrated their nuptials in Toledo, Spain—the groom’s hometown.
Our very own, Rosa Clara customized three gowns for the star-studded event. Alba wore a stunning gown for the ceremony, another to greet the press and the last to enjoy the insanely fun reception.
This first dress was designed exclusively for the ceremony. Alba wanted a design that would commensurate with the venue. The results couldn’t have been any more perfect!
The piece she wore was a square neckline and cap-sleeve silk brocade A-line gown finished in French Chantilly. An 8 feet train elongated the voluminous skirt. We loved the entire look!
Alba was very quiet all morning; the day was unfolding just as she had imagined it.
Alba wanted her son Lucas to have a very important role in the wedding. The little one of the family wore a mini tuxedo paired with Converses for a fun look that brought a smile to all who were in attendance.
Belén, Feliciano’s mother also wore a very flattering beaded Rosa Clara design.
The bridesmaids also donned a jeweled toned design also by Rosa Clara (pictured above in the bottom right). The five dresses were made of natural silk voile and complemented with gorgeous bouquets.
The ceremony took place in the Courtyard of the Alcázar, which was officiated by the parish priest, Feliciano’s grandparents. Coupled with the romantic location, this made for a very sentimental event for the twosome!
The groom’s friends and fellow professional athletes, paid homage to the sport by providing the couple with a tennis influenced exit. The happy couple made their way through what would be one of the most memorable moments of their emotional ceremony!
Alba also wanted to give a nod to her new husband’s favorite sport with her second look. Designer Rosa Clará and the bride got down to work to get this beautiful silk tulle sheath dress with hemstitch details and pleats inspired by tennis attire from the 1940s and 50s. The Rosa Clará team enjoyed participating in this nice surprise!
And finally, the reception look! The bride wore a spectacular and comfortable embroidered mermaid dress with a dramatic illusion back designed by Rosa Clara. The couple exchanged unwavering smiles the remainder of the evening.
We all at the Rosa Clará group want to thank Alba for her confidence both in our designer and our team. It was a real pleasure designing the dresses that played a major role on one of the most important days of your lives.
The Rosa Clara team wishes you all the happiness in the world!
